TALON CHARACTERS ARE TO BE CONSIDERED COMPLETELY SEPARATE FROM THE STATION AND SHOULD BE TREATED AS SUCH

A great leader is born from hard work and determination. Leaders are those that can find the way even in the darkest of night! Even as their subordinates one by one down a abominations gullet. It's not a easy or a pretty job, but darn does it feel good when the plan goes right for a change.

Setup

Upon waking up from cryosleep, there are a few things to check first:

  1. Is there anyone else aboard?
  2. Has the ship been moved?
  3. Is the ship intact and powered?

You're equipped with a special Talon headset, allowing you to speak to other crew with :t. While you can perform setup tasks like opening the fuel pumps and keeping the SMES active, it's best to leave these to the Talon Engineer if one is present.

Duties

As the captain, your job is not to fly the ship (if a Pilot is present, that is), but to direct the crew in their operations and decide where to travel to. Usually, the helm control console will have several grid locations saved for you to choose from, including a fuel depot and Virgo 3B (home of the VORE). While you are still bound by the rules of the server, you are not a Nanotrasen employee and have no responsibility to follow VORE command. This is your ship.

Once everything is set up, space is your oyster. You could decide to visit a nearby moon, dock at 3B to trade, or just drift until you find something interesting.
