A brief history of Virgo Orbital Research Establishments (V.O.R.E)

Upon discovery of the Virgo-Erigone system in 2531, NanoTrasen quickly jumped on the chance harvest the then mysterious new material called phoron. The NSB Adephagia, more commonly known as V.O.R.E., Was christened with its first moniker (V.o.r.e-1) and sent to boldly go where no one had gone before. The station was planted on a moon (Virgo-3B) in orbit around a phoron gas giant that is part of the Virgo-Erigone star system. The original V.O.R.E. was a station that began operation in 2558, three years after the completion of the NSS Exodus entered service, which the original NSS Adephagia was based upon. After several Miss-Adventures involving space nazies, Meteors and Phoron leaks... Lots of Phoron leaks... the station NSB Adephagia, was finally christened with its 4th moniker(VORE-4) and converted into a space space tether which opened in 2561. The station is crewed by approximately 20 to 50 employees who transfer periodically to and from the An-Nur Spaceport, NanoTrasen's planet-side hub in the Virgo-Erigone system.
