How To Play As A Maint Pred

There are multiple ways to play as a maintenance predator or other simple mob character, here are a few of them:

Ghost Pod Announcement

When observing a shift as a ghost, you may hear a loud screech and recieve a pop up asking if you would like to play as a maint pred. This will either allow you to play as any maint pred below, selecting from a list of options, or specifically open a pod for you to play as a morph.

Find Ghost Pod

When observing a shift as a ghost, you can use the Find Ghost Pod verb in the Ghost tab. This will bring up a list of ghost pods that are currently available on the map, allowing you to jump over to them and use them at will.

Ghost Join Mobs

Certain mobs around the maps will have a small purple arrow beside them, this indicates that they have ghost join active. Clicking on one of these mobs will allow you to take them over and play as them.

Ahelp

Players are encouraged to ahelp if they would like to play as a maint pred and none of the above options are available to them. If staff are available to help, they are generally very happy to help players out with this, and it certain beats rushing to stop a griefer. Options that are not available through ghost pod spawns and the list below may be available through asking nicely.
